Hacker Initiative is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public non-profit corporation, duly registered with the California Attorney General's Registry for Charities. The Foundation is created to support and grow the collective knowledge and contributions of the worldwide hacker community by sponsoring grants, scholarships and endowments to other charities promoting the Foundation's impact and educational goals.
