Birthday Angels was founded in 2014 in Toronto with the mission to spread the happiness of birthdays to children living in shelters. We believe that a child should be able to celebrate their birthday no matter their circumstances. Since 2014, we have expanded into multiple communities in Ontario, and have celebrated over 100 children's birthdays! We throw 1 party per month at each of our partner shelters, inviting all shelter residents to attend. Each month we pick a theme and provide themed party supplies: decorations, crafts & activities, cupcakes, party favours, and a birthday cake! A special birthday gift is given to each child celebrating a birthday that month. We are currently working with shelters in Toronto, the GTA, York Region and Guelph.
