The PWA is a charitable non-profit organization that conducts science-based projects in the Petitcodiac Watershed in Southeastern NB. Our main pillars are science, education and community engagement. As a funding dependent organization our projects ebb and flow with the priorities of the watershed and partnership opportunities. Currently we work on water quality monitoring, species at risk monitoring, fish habitat assessments, fish identification, watercourse alteration and education/outreach programs. We are governed by 10 volunteer board of directors. Our staff compliment ranges from 3-6 depending on the season. Our legal name is PWMG-GSBP Inc.
