The European Chamber of Commerce in Sudan (ECCS) has been established to promote European private sector interests across the various business sectors in Sudan, and to support Sudan- based businesses looking to re- establish business links with Europe. The ECCS works towards fostering greater market access, improve operational conditions for member states working in the region and strengthen European and Sudanese economic relations. A membership- based organization, ECCS is registered in Sudan as a nonprofit company that is limited by guarantee. ECCS membership is by invitation, and is open for: • Honorary Councils of European States • European businesses with presence or official representation in Sudan • European businesses considering doing business in Sudan • Sudanese dealers/ representatives of European companies • Sudanese private companies with interest in establishing relations with the European private sector.
