The Shipping Professional Network in Hamburg e.V. (SPNH) is a platform for young shipping professionals, which was founded in July 2014. We regularly host events in which professionals from all areas of the industry can get together to network, socialize and learn more about the shipping industry. Our events offer you the opportunity to hear expert opinions on shipping related topics – all presented by respected leaders from various fields in the maritime industry. These fields range from the bunker industry, maritime law, ship classification, shipping finance, maritime economics, research and much more. Since our launch in 2014 we have had the pleasure to welcome more than 1,000 guests at our events and had fabulous speakers from various companies like Bernhard Schulte, Maersk, Oldendorff Carriers, Carnival Maritime and many more. SPNH encourages young professionals who have several years of experience to make the most of the benefits that Hamburg, as a world-class maritime cluster, has to offer. We are a non-profit organization and all of our events are offered free of charge.
