We are a commercial general contractor located in Daphne, AL. We specialize in new construction, renovation and tenant build-out projects. We are currently licensed in AL, but are pursuing MS and FL general contractors license as well. Matthew Reed and Robert Hays founded Reed-Hays Construction in 2017 after spending time working for ENR Top 25 companies for the majority of their career. Matthew has 12+ years experience in commercial construction. He started his career at W.G. Yates and Sons Construction based in their Biloxi, MS office as an Estimator. He advanced in his career to a Senior Estimator, leading pre-construction efforts on multiple projects worth approximately $1 billion dollars. His most recent position was Vice President of Construction for an SDVOSB that worked mainly in the healthcare industry. Robert has 10+ years experience in commercial construction. He started his career working with a Framing and Drywall subcontractor on projects throughout the Southeast US. He then went to work for Brasfield and Gorrie, General Contractors as an Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. Robert has worked on multiple medical facilities in locations across the US like Los Angles, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Memphis, TN and Mobile, AL. Robert's most recent position was Project Manager where he managed multiple projects at once for both the Veteran's Affairs Administration and the General Services Administration. Together Matthew and Robert have over 22+ years experience in the construction industry in both the public and private sector.
