A few years ago, our family was profoundly changed after a loved one suffered from severe mental illness, ultimately ending in suicide. As the aftermath unfolded, we knew we had to turn tragedy into transformation. We are in the middle of a cultural movement that is finally starting to approach mental illness in the right way and promote mental wellness for all individuals. With our new approach, we’re attempting to remove the stigma that keeps families afraid and in the shadows. Our goal is to inform, educate and normalize mental illness.
