The Media Technology Center (MTC) was founded in 2019 as part of the ETH Media Tech Initiative. The MTC is a place where researchers and industry partners work together on projects to shape the future of media technology. The center provides a platform to work on technological innovations at the intersection of media technology, digital journalism, and design. In addition, the center provides a forum for a lively exchange between academia and industry, experts and students, innovators and established opinions. TX Group, Ringier, SRG/SRF, the NZZ Media Group, "Verband Schweizer Medien" and ETH Foundation support this initiative.
