The Golden Stave is the Australian Music and Entertainment Industries supported charity. The Golden Stave Foundation raises money each year and distributes ALL net funds less a small working float. Applications are taken from registered Children's Charities in NSW by November 30 each year and the Trustees vet the applications and then the funds are allocated to the selected charities. The funds must directly benefit a child in need. The distribution is finalised in December each year. Our accounts are audited and lodged annually each year with the ACNC. Since 1979 the Golden Stave has raised over $15 million for children's charities in NSW. We support registered charities who help sick, under privileged and handicapped children. We care for kids! We are a totally volunteer organisation and rely on the support of our corporate partners and loyal individuals.
