We are the Rocketry team for the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Our goal is to build a Sounding Rocket to compete in the Spaceport America Cup competition, which is the largest intercollegiate rocketry competition globally. We strive to lift the trophy and bring laurels to our institute and our country. We are the 1st IIT team aiming for this. Our team was established in 2020, and we constitute 25 individuals currently. So after one year, we are fully prepared and set to build, burn and blast off. Our goal is to sow the seeds of rocketry in IIT Madras and develop skills and enthusiasm for rocketry among students by equipping them with the essential tools and environment.
