WinkMe is a unique peer-based program operating as a women's empowerment and self care club at Barnard College. Through weekly discussion and facilitator-led exercises, WinkMe empowers women to reevaluate how they are treated by others and--most importantly--how they treat themselves. Weekly meeting topics include (but are not limited to) perfectionism, body image, female competition, assertive communication, healthy relationships, personal growth and habitual self care. By thinking critically and prioritizing the relationship we have with ourselves, WinkMe hopes to build a community of young women unmatched in self confidence and ready to take over the professional world.
