Originally, Fayum Gas Co. (FGC) is a local Natural Gas distribution company that was established in 2001. Back then, Shell Gas BV, NatEnergy, and Gail India ltd. were the main shareholders. In March 2007, NatEnergy and Shell Gas BV made a sell down agreement in favor of NatEnergy Company who then transferred the management of FGC to NATGAS. Fayum Gas is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001 certified.
