www.positivelycaviar.comPositively Caviar, Inc. is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on using positive thinking and optimism as a vehicle to instill mental resilience and help combat mental health stigmas faced in our communities. We rely on positive digital media, speaking engagements, and our signature mental wellness B.U.I.L.D. Self-Empowerment workshops. We use our mental wellness B.U.I.L.D. Self-Empowerment workshops – both face-to-face and now through virtual (ex. Zoom) – to introduce youth (ages 11-18) to the imperative mindset of positive thinking and optimism to provide them with preventative strategies to help overcome adversity. More specifically, our workshops include techniques and strategies to help combat negative self-talk, the importance of gratitude, and an introduction to meditation/mindfulness exercises. Our team actively engages youth in a fun, interactive, and informative activities to expose the audience to preventative mental health strategies to promote all the necessary qualities in making decisions for a positive, healthy, and resilient life. The workshop also discusses science-based discoveries about the human brain to allow each student to gain further insights into how their thoughts can influence their habits, goals, and future.
