EDOCODE is a startup company that was founded with the goal of conceptualizing and developing services needed across the globe. We work to create relevant products that will be used by people of all backgrounds. We endeavor to leverage IT/web technologies to provide solutions to everyday inconveniences and ultimately contribute to bettering the world. Our main business is the development and operation of a Point Mall site in collaboration with domestic credit card companies, and we started working with the first credit card company in 2010, and as of 2021, the number of companies has increased to more than 20. With this Point Mall service, we have been able to return more than 100 million yen per month in monetary terms to our users. We have set this "amount returned to users" as a KPI for our service, and we are developing our service on a daily basis from the perspective of how we can maximize this amount. If the amount of money returned to users increases, it means that the amount of online shopping transactions via the Point Mall will also increase. We would like to improve our services from a user-first perspective and thereby make online shopping more active and convenient. The Point Mall business started as a business of the group's parent company, Wano. In June 2016, EDOCODE was established as a spin-off of the business unit. As a spin-off company with a stable and profitable business, we are able to develop products with a startup mindset while having sufficient financial strength. With the revenue from the Point Mall business as a backbone, EDOCODE is looking to develop new businesses.
