gamearea-HESSEN e.V., based in Frankfurt am Main, represents the interests of the computer and video game industry in the city of Frankfurt am Main, and the State of Hesse. Gamearea-HESSEN emerged from gamearea-FRM, which was founded in May 2009. The goal of gamearea-HESSEN is to actively contribute to the further development of the region as a center for digital games and media culture.
