HISTORY 1990 – Founded 1990 – First training event took place in Oregon 1995 - Training relocated to Orlando, Florida 2005 – First European training (Germany) 2012 – Accredited by FSAB (Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board, Inc.) as a certifying organization FACTS: • The Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) program is a strenuous “Peer Reviewed” and “Certified” process. • We have trained examiners from 66 countries. • We have held training courses in the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. • Continually developing advanced education programs, including Windows Forensic Examiner, Cyber Incident Response, Mobile Device Forensics, Lab Management, and Lab Accreditation courses. • Vision Statement: To be the premier organization of choice for the digital forensics community by providing membership services, training, internationally-recognized and accredited certification, and peer support. • Purpose and Mission: IACIS is dedicated to the training and certification of the digital forensics community in support of its membership.
