The Federation of Galaxy Explorers educates and inspires youth in space-related science and engineering and teaches them about the science and technology that is changing their lives. Galaxy Explorers aims to expand the frontiers of science and technology to explore and develop space by providing engaging and accessible programs to children in grades three to twelve. At the center is afterschool enrichment program where "Mission Teams" meet on a monthly basis. They are designed to teach the program's five core sciences and introduce education in fun and interactive ways. Galaxy Explorers also hosts additional STEM enrichment programs through summer camps, the Battle of the Rockets competition, and the STEMShip Discovery Center.
