The Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO) is dedicated to working in partnership to improve the health of the region's communities. HCNO is a member-driven organization that represents and advocates on behalf of its member hospitals and health systems. It also provides collaborative opportunities to enhance the health status of residents in the region. HCNO coordinates several community health programs, including the Northwest Ohio Pathways HUB and Healthy Lucas County. Toledo/Lucas County CareNet, a partnership that provides access to coordinated healthcare services for low-income residents of Lucas County, contracts with HCNO for staffing and administration. And HCNO coordinates disaster preparedness and community health assessments in the region and beyond.
