Coneybeare’s namesake, Ross Coneybeare, was a self-made businessman renowned for his kind nature. Legend has it that little baby chicks would follow him around, attracted to his gentle temperament. Empathy and caring about people still define the core of who we are. Ross Coneybeare’s daughter, Rachel May, founded Coneybeare in 1986. Like her father, Rachel May was a bold, serial entrepreneur and owned two other staffing firms prior to Coneybeare. Rachel May turned the business over to her daughter, Victoria Betancourt, in 1990.
