An initiative out of McMaster University, Machealth is a destination for Canadian health care professionals that hosts free online certified programs, resources and communities. Our medical experts, designers and e-learning professionals collaborate to create the very best, high-quality content in continuing professional development. With McMaster University as a leader in evidence-based medicine and problem-based learning, Machealth uses the same approach. Our programs are brought to you in partnership with reputable not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions and government agencies. None of our programs are funded by the pharma industry, allowing us to keep our Conflicts of Interest to an absolute minimum. The Machealth platform was created in 2004 by the Division of e-Learning Innovation and is provided as a free service to the health care professional community.
