It combines an econometric model of consumers’ residential solar preferences, estimated from our 2016 Residential Solar Survey, with an individual service territory’s census-based, demographic data (e.g., gender, age, and race breakdowns by ZIP Code). The results of our research have been used by and/or presented and submitted to the U.S. House of Representatives, EPRI, USEPA, NOAA, USDOI, USFWS, USACE, FERC, the National Park Service, and numerous state regulatory agencies. Veritas’ staff have published 17 books and book chapters as well as more than 35 articles in top-tier, peer-reviewed economic, environmental, energy, engineering, and risk journals.
