Earth Rangers is The Kids’ Conservation Organization, dedicated to educating children and their families about biodiversity, inspiring them to adopt sustainable behaviours and empowering them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats. Earth Rangers visits over 800 English and French elementary schools across Canada each year, delivering fun, dynamic, and interactive school-wide assemblies and hands-on classroom experiments focused on biodiversity and environmental science. By becoming an Earth Ranger, children, with support from their families, make a commitment to engage in actions that directly contribute to the protection of wildlife. We currently have over 200,000 members across Canada. Earth Rangers has a staff of about 40 and an operating budget of about $5 million. Our offices are located on Pine Valley Drive in Woodbridge, adjacent to the Kortright Centre for Conservation Area. Designed to embody our values, the Earth Rangers Centre for Sustainable Technology is an advanced green building, a showcase of cutting edge sustainable building technology.
