www.usamuaythai.sportMISSION USA MUAYTHAI, recognized sports organization by the USOPC, is a 501c3 Non Profit and the sole US National Federation for IFMA. Our mission is to further advance the sport of MuayThai in the United States through education while providing opportunities to develop high-caliber athletes that can successfully compete at the elite level. November 2016 the I.O.C. granted Provisional Recognition to the sport of Muaythai due to the efforts of I.F.M.A. (International Federation of Muaythai Amateur). IFMA is the governing body of Muaythai internationally that oversees the development of Muaythai in of over 100 countries. Each country has a an appointed national federation that follows the guidelines (rules, regulations and ethics) of IFMA and therefore the I.O.C. The USMF is the SOLE national federation in the United States. Currently, the USMF has submitted our application to the U.S.O.C. (Untied States Olympic Committee) and pending the imminent approval of the application, the USMF will govern the Amateur Olympic style of the sport in the United States much like USA Boxing, USA Volleyball, USA Soccer, USATF (Track and Field) etc. VISION The USA MUAYTHAI'S vision is to unify the sport of Muaythai in the United States by providing a unified rule set, education system, and opportunities for athletes, coaches and officials to further grow in the sport. By providing these opportunities for education and growth, our athletes will be able to compete at the olympic level. ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT The USA MUAYTHAI is proud that our top athletes have found successful careers in combat sports. Athletes such as Troy Jones Jr, Janet Todd, Asa Ten Pow, Matt Baker, Eric Luna, Miriam Nakamoto, Jacob Rodriguez, and Bekah Irwin, all have transition from representing their countries to fighting exclusively on the best promotions in the world such as ONE Championships, Glory Kickboxing, and more.
