Peeler Environmental was founded as Bill's Exterminating Co., Inc. in 1968 by Bill Peeler Sr. After a management career at a well-known, national pest control corporation, Mr. Peeler elected to offer his personal services to the community. His one-man operation has grown into a corporation still locally operated by his grandson, Kip Peeler. Peeler Environmental, like all NC pest control companies, is regulated by state government. The North Carolina Structural Pest Control Division is responsible for the rules and regulations governing pest control operators ensuring all companies abide by the same codes. Large national chains as well as local pest control companies are governed by this body. The NCDA SPCD devotes itself to the resolution of all consumer-pest control operator conflicts. At Peeler Environmental, we take those standards to the next level. In 2009, Bill's Exterminating was accredited by the National Pest Management Association as a QualityPro firm. The company entered into this process to ensure excellence in pest management practices. In 2010, the company co-branded itself as Peeler Environmental as a commitment to being advocates of good stewardship of our natural resources and bringing our customers services to improve the indoor, unfinished spaces, & exteriors of their home environment. December 2010, Pest Management Professional Magazine honored Bill's Exterminating/Peeler Environmental as a global top Pest Management Firm.
