The firm of Nakamura, Oyama and Associates, Inc. (NOA) was established in 1985 to allow the continuance of consulting electrical, communications, mechanical, and fire protection engineering services to many of the former clients of Nakamura, Kawabata and Associates, Inc. (NKA), and also provide continued employment to the former staff of NKA. Principal of NOA is Glenn Oyama, whose experience in consulting electrical engineering spans over 40 years throughout Hawaii and the Pacific Basin. The firm is a member of Consulting Engineers Council of Hawaii and ACEC.
