Our History: Founded in 1988 by Chai Yoon Keong, Powermech Corporation ventured into sales, service & rental of industrial generators business. 3 years later, Powermech established a partnership with Kohler Power Systems and became the sole distributor of Kohler Generators in Malaysia. In 2003, Powermech Energy was incorporated as an independent unit to take over the power system business of Powermech Corporation, to streamline the operations. With a more focused business direction the company leveraged on its solid foundation to reposition itself to become a one-stop energy solution provider. In August 2015, Powermech Energy was renamed to Powertrade Energy as a result of change in shareholders. What We Do: We are an established player in the market of industrial generators or power systems, whether it's sales, service, parts, rental or support. The recent change in shareholders also enabled us to venture into more a environment friendly sector, Renewable Energy. In line with Malaysian government's initiative towards a greener future, we are equipped to design and build renewable energy solutions such as PV systems, biogas system and biomass system.
