The Alliance for Integrity is a business driven multi-stakeholder initiative promoting integrity in the economic system and improving the framework conditions for compliant and clean business. Corruption affects all of society's actors. Consequently, fighting corruption both between companies and between the private and public sectors requires the participation of all key state, private sector and civil society actors. Alliance for Integrity is a peer-to-peer learning and implementation network designed to support companies and governments in partner countries in jointly reducing corruption risks. It has been initiated by a number of multinational companies, the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Global Compact Network. It is being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
