Figure8 Agency is a concert promoter and has been organising more than 30 concerts in Singapore since 2011. Some of the most noticeable live acts we worked with include Justice, Tinariwen, Amadou & Mariam, -M-, IAM, Mogwai, Deerhoof, etc. Having successfully promoted so many acts in the region from scratch, we’ve extended our business to become a fully integrated music agency with boutique services catered to labels and artists willing to develop their profiles in Southeast Asia. We handle press, radio, TV promotion as well as music pitching to local and international DSPs. We also work as a booking agency for some of the edgiest and finest contemporary musicians from Southeast Asia, and represent a few selected international acts for touring in Asia. On top of this, Figure8 Agency has been providing music & film consultancy to some of the leading European content brands such as Deezer, ZED and Believe Distribution, and is now the exclusive representative of multi-awarded sync & music supervision agency Creaminal for music licensing services in Asia. Figure8 has produced the UpToTheSky Festival in 2011 with a line-up consisting of regional acts and the screening of short films revolving around the region and music by filmmakers Ho Tzu Nien and Vincent Moon from Takeaway show (Blogotheque). The company have also organised European and Asian tours for Indonesian and Malaysian acts The Trees and The Wild, White Shoes and The Couples Company, Tenderfist and Sore.
