It is the mission of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD) to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. Since 1932, APD has been a non-profit, community-based health care organization with a mission to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. A member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system, APD has a strong reputation for personalized attention and provides care to more than 15,000 patients per year. Long known for primary care, APD also specializes in short-stay ambulatory surgery and other health care specialties. Today APD employs over 500 staff members. Our campus includes a 25-bed critical access hospital with inpatient care and emergency services, an outpatient Multi-Specialty Clinic, a state-of-the-art Sleep Health Center, and APD Lifecare — a non-profit senior living community with two facilities that support more than 150 residents in assisted and independent living.
