These services include Resource Centres in Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd that provide drop-in facilities, counselling, gardening, relaxation and music groups; Community Advocacy and Hospital Advocacy Projects. Mission Statement: "To provide quality services that promote positive mental health" Our aims are: * To provide a range of services to adults with experience of mental or emotional distress * To provide opportunities for these people to directly participate in the development and delivery of the services we provide * To assist in developing good practice in mental health services * To support and empower people with experience of mental health issues * To raise public awareness of mental health issues * To help de-stigmatise and challenge negative images of people with mental health difficulties * To encourage and support the development of service users' autonomy and equal citizenship through everyday activities
