New Zealand Python User Group Incorporated (NZPUG) is an organisation that aims to support and promote the use of the Python programming language in the country. NZPUG works towards this by: • Organising Kiwi PyCon, New Zealand's annual Python conference; • Running an electronic mailing list for news, resources, opportunities, and connecting with each other in the Python community; • Getting the community together through regular meetings in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, and Christchurch; • Keeping a record of the presentations given at Kiwi PyCon on the NZPUG YouTube Channel. NZPUG was incorporated in 2009 (Society Number 2250349) and was officially registered as a charity on the 16th of February 2016 (Charity Registration Number CC52902). Kiwi PyCon is the annual national Python conference in Aotearoa New Zealand. Its aims are: • to promote Python and its numerous uses; • to advance Python education; • to support the development of a diverse and interconnected community of users.
