The City of Rockland, Maine Fire & EMS Department is a highly skilled team who protect the lives and property of Rockland and our outlaying communities. We are staffed 24/7 with three shifts of 5 firefighter/AEMT/Paramedics, 2 Paramedics who work day time hours to supplement staff, as well as a full time fire chief. The full time ranks are also supported with 12 dedicated call firefighters who augment staffing levels when additional personnel are needed. We operate out of one centrally located station that house 9 apparatus ( 3 ALS ambulances, 2 engine/pumpers, 1 rescue pumper, 1 tower ladder, 1 command vehicle, and 1 utility truck.)
