Starting with the premise that D.C. is, in fact, a great sports town, our goal is to make our voice heard above the cacophony of haters and dissent. The rich tradition of intense passion, fierce loyalty and unconditional love of their teams that fans from the district have embraced for generations makes for a tale worth telling. Everything that makes living in the Washington metropolitan area great—incredibly diverse population, close proximity to the vibrant political landscape and lively culinary and entertainment scenes—enhances what makes this a great sports town. If there’s one thing that passionate sports fans appreciate, it’s home field advantage. It can be found inside our favorite stadiums and arenas, inside our homes, and in our favorite sports bars.
