Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a distinguished pre-professional organization for students interested in public relations or related fields such as marketing, communications and journalism. Each year, the Northern Michigan University chapter sends members to the PRSSA National Conference, which is held in various cities throughout the U.S. In addition, the chapter puts on events throughout the year. This past year the organization hosted a holiday fundraiser to help a local family in need, as well as, the inaugural Marquette Coffee Crawl. Putting on campaigns, members of PRSSA gain valuable knowledge of advertising, planning strategies and teamwork.
