The British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) is a registered charity, and a company limited by guarantee, not having share capital. BAOMS' objectives are to (1) promote the advancement of education, research and the development of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the British Isles and (2) encourage and assist postgraduate education, study and research in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
