Bamboo Shoots YYC
www.bambooshoots.caAs one of Alberta’s most experienced productions houses, Bamboo Shoots (formerly Stir Films) has a long history producing TV commercials, corporate videos and web content. Recently we have produced spots for ATB Financial, Spin Master, Princess Auto, AUPE and Volkswagen, as well as flexing our creative muscle creating engaging corporate content for the likes of TransCanada, Tourism Calgary and the National Music Centre. We provide all productions services including writing, directing, location scouting, casting, shooting, props, lighting, editing, graphics and SFX/Sound. With our in-house staff, we are also able to act as a small, nimble crew available on short notice. Bringing years of experience to every project, we make small budgets look like big productions. Founded in 2001, our work has since garnered us dozens of Rosie Awards from the Alberta Media Production Industry Association as well as a Canadian Screen Award – the Canadian equivalent of an Emmy – in 2016 for our production of Balletlujah, which aired nationally on CBC Television. Having worked with Historica Canada in the past, Stir is also proud to be part of Canadian history, producing two Heritage Minutes in 2014, another two in 2015, and the story of the Edmonton Graduates in 2017.
