Bayside Pilates is a studio in Alameda, California committed to the original work of Joseph Pilates. Owner and Instructor, Faye Stevenson is certified by Romana Kryzanowska, one of Joseph Pilates’ original teachers in his New York studio. Romana has been practicing Pilates for over sixty years and is committed to preserving the Pilates Method of body conditioning as it was designed and taught by Joseph Pilates. Graduates of her program are held to rigorous standards and are required to complete approximately six–hundred hours of apprenticeship before they are granted their certification.
