The Roses Theatre (registered charity no 1051708) is a lively 374 seat venue, providing quality live performance and film to the people of Gloucestershire and the surrounding area. The theatre’s diverse programme includes drama, dance, film, comedy, pantomime, children’s shows and music of all kinds. Built in 1975 on the site of an art deco cinema, The Roses Theatre is Tewkesbury’s only arts venue providing a cultural focal point both for the town and the surrounding rural communities. Today the arts venue offers around 190 live shows and 313 film screenings annually, welcoming 80,000 admissions a year.
