Ono Academic College was established in 1995 as a private, non-profit academic institution and has set itself two principal goals: A. Developing and studying applied academic programs, which will enable graduates to integrate directly in the labor market, while maintaining the highest level of academic standards and teaching quality. B. Giving top priority to the social problems of the State of Israel, by finding solutions for various sectors of the population, providing the opportunity for higher academic studies and, as a result, the ability to play an active role in the Israeli work force. Within this framework, we have developed study courses for outstanding students, to enable them to fulfill their potential and to devote their time to multidisciplinary studies in more than one faculty, according to their choice. In addition, the Ono is proud to be the only higher education institute in Israel to include four academic hours of compulsory community work. We regard this personal commitment as an educational message of the highest level, which will result in the students' appreciation of the Ono Academic College world view. Developing social sensitivity and awareness to the needs of one's community is an integral part of training future lawyers, accountants and business people. Over 8,500 students participate in the various study courses at Ono Academic College -the undergraduate program in Law (LLB) and the undergraduate and graduate programs in Business Administration (BA and MBA) with a variety of specializations: Marketing and Advertising, Finance, Information Systems Analysis, Accounting and Human Resources Management.
