The founder of Moriroku - Yasubei Mori - started with dealing Indigo dying color (Awa Indigo) and dried sardines. The dried sardines were used as fertilizer for the plants, which were needed for the Indigo production. With this trading scheme established, the foundation stone for the Moriroku Group as it works and trades today has been laid. After several expansions within Asia, oversea offices had been established as well. As for Central Europe, Moriroku Austria GmbH has been established in 2007 to simplify connections and trading opportunities with local companies.
