We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in partnership with city and state officials, that helps combat childhood obesity through fitness. The city and state officials have taken the leadership challenge to a new level by going and physically exercising with children in area elementary and middle schools. One in three children in Bexar County is struggling with obesity, leading to more school days missed, increased health risk factors, increased healthcare costs, and a decrease in their quality of life. Forward In Fitness will serve as a catalyst led by city and state officials, to build a healthier San Antonio, one child at a time.
