United Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. (UT) is the exclusive representative of IEEE & IHS Markit in Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia. We have been representing IEEE and IHS in this part of the world for more than 30 years. As exclusive representatives , we are responsible for sales support, training, presentations and consulting services of all of our strategic partners and services for all customers in Malaysia ,Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia. We represent IEEE (IEEE Electronic Library) in Malaysia and Indonesia and Knovel e-books and IHS in Malaysia. We also have a smart partnership with SIRIM and AWS (American Welding Society) as an International Agent and Accredited Test Facility for all forms of welding disciplines. Since 1986, UT has supported the sale of technical standards and codes for IHS and provided customized I.T. services for various industries in Malaysia. Specifically, UT has played a pivotal role in industrial development and growth in Malaysia by providing technical standards and solutions for various key projects including the construction of the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Telecommunications Tower and The Kuala Lumpur International Airport. UT has a recognized working partnership with the Standards Body of Malaysia (SIRIM) to continuously support the sales of technical standards to companies in Malaysia. Examples of technical standards that we provide include BSI, ASTM, API, ASME and ISO. Our presence in Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia is supported by the government, commercial companies and academia. For example, Telekom Malaysia, Petronas, Technip, Leighton Contractors, Royal Brunei Airlines, Kementerian Pertahanan and all major government universities are served by UT through our principal partners.
