Dream AcadeME Inc is a public non-profit alternative education program that supports the collaboration of teachers and parents to bring personalized learning to individuals and small groups of students. Dr. Traci Demuth started Dream AcadeME as an after school, tutoring, and summer camp program in 2013. Since then she has expanded into the homeschool realm of education and hired additional teachers. In early 2016, Dream AcadeME started the nonprofit process and was awarded status in July 2017. We now help families develop personalized year round education for their children through homeschooling and supplemental education, and continue to provide tutoring, after school, and summer camp classes. Dream AcadeME brings educators to students' homes and also uses the city as a classroom, from museums, mountains, parks, beaches, and more. We collaborate with other non-profits to bring alternative education to students all over Los Angeles. We are currently based in Los Angeles and looking to expand into cities nationwide. The mission of Dream AcadeME is to empower each child with a love for learning and an enthusiasm for life. Through the integration of social-constructivism with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) your child will discover his or her dreams. Each child will explore his or her interests, as well as the interests of peers, through collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and experimentation. Dream AcadeME education facilitators provide the environment, experiences, and tools that nurture the development of each child’s integrity in fulfillment of his or her dreams.
