Çemtaş is a private company, 57% of which is belonged by BURSA CEMENT FACTORY and 43% is publicly held in Istanbul Stock Exchange Market since 1995. As an "Electric Arc Furnace based Special Steel Producer" Çemtaş is leading market by producing special steel as customer - driven, compliant with the norms EN,DIN, AISI, SAE, ASTM and special specifications with 180.000 tons/year melt shop, 220.000 tons/year rolling mill capacity. ÇEMTAŞ can produce more than 300 different steel qualities in different steel groups such as structural steels, carbon steels, bolt steels, case hardening steels, tempered steels, heat treating steels, cold work tool steels, boron steels, micro-alloyed steels, free cutting steels, stainless steels and spring steels.
