UbuntuNet Alliance is the regional research and education network for East and Southern Africa. It aims at providing advanced networking infrastructure for the research and education community to support research, teaching and learning. Currently, the Alliance has a membership of 13 NRENs, 4 of which are connected to its Rouing Hub in London, which has a direct conenction to GEANT, the pan-European academic network.
