On this day in 1993 we won the Leinster U-21 Football Championship for the 4th time in 5 years as we defeated Dublin in Croke Park. Today’s anniversary is tinged with sadness as it is the first since the sad passing of Jason Hendrick who was joint top scorer in the final with 1-02 and who scored 2-06 in total over the Leinster Championship. Today’s memory is dedicated to the memory of the Enfield (latterly @nafiannaclg_meath )star who is sadly missed.
