CLL Support
www.cllsupport.org.ukCLL Support is a UK patient-led charity supporting & empowering Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) & Small Lymphocytic Leukaemia (SLL) patients, their families & supporters through education & access to reliable, relevant, & current information. It is the patient charity arm of the CLL Forum of CLL Clinicians, scientists, and researchers across the UK. • Working with CLL specialists we provide up to date & accessible information about CLL, encompassing the range of treatments currently available & the latest research into care & treatment • We develop opportunities to share understanding & personal experience by bringing CLL patients together & creating mutual support groups & networks • We act as a voice for CLL patients, representing their interests with the pharmaceutical industry, clinicians, the NHS, cancer care policy & drugs regulation authorities, funding & commissioning groups, & politicians • We promote awareness of CLL, & the role of CLL Support, amongst health care providers & decision-makers, providers of non-healthcare products & services, other blood cancer patient groups & the wider public Through LinkedIn, we hope to raise our profile with Consultant Haematologists, Clinical Haematology Specialist Nurses, Haemato-Oncologists, Specialist Registrars & Haematology Research Nurses. By working together, we can ensure patients are directed to us from the point of diagnosis so that we can be there from the earliest stages to support them throughout their journey with CLL. You can request free CLL Support publications for your haematology clinic by completing the following order form https://www.cllsupport.org.uk/contact-us/order-publications/. We're keen to connect with Haematology departments across the UK and would love to see more haematology teams join us as members. Membership is free & open to all CLL & SLL patients, their families & healthcare teams https://www.cllsupport.org.uk/about-us/membership/. Registered Charity Number 1178482.
