College is hard, and students are busy - we get it. Student Senate was created 102 years ago to channel student perspectives and ideas into action and create the results that students want to see, even when they don't have the time or abilities to do it themselves. Our team of 21 students works everyday to create projects and initiatives that serve the student body, while also bridging the gap between students and members of the administration. We meet every Monday to vote on issues such as budget decisions, project proposals, renovations to the campus, policies that affect the Calvin community, and discuss issues that are relevant to Calvin students. We hold elections each spring to choose a new team for the upcoming academic year.
