EUGENIE VIELLARD JOAILLERIE
www.eugenieviellard.comEugenie Viellard is a French jewelry designer. She lives and works in Paris. Since 2006, Eugenie has been designing tailor - made jewelry pieces, inspired by her many travels, her passion for art and her family history. CHILDHOOD Coming from a family of industrialists and artists, Eugenie grew up between Paris and the family property of Epernay. The Maison Belle-Epoque, jewel of the modern art, is today the museum of the house Perrier-Jouët, an exceptional place where the Majorelle furniture and Leleu stand alongside of the works of Gallé, Mucha, Daum, Guimard, Toulouse-Lautrec, Rodin ... It is in Clairefontaine, near the Chevreuse valley, another singular universe where Eugenie initiated herself to painting and sculpture making by developing a sensitivity for colors and lively materials. INSPIRATION Her passion for jewelry was sealed at the age of 9 by a gift from her grandmother carioca, raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: a box containing cut and rough gems. Emeralds, aquamarines, tourmalines, amethysts, fire topazes and carnelians remind Eugenie of the light and the special nature of South America that enabled her to find the inspirations for her very first creations. THE JEWELRY Eugenie's passion for precious stones led her to study gemmology. She discovers the secrets of the manufacturing process of jewelry in an emblematic house in the Place Vendôme. Keeping from this period strong artistic friendships and a taste for special orders. Her creative sensitivity, her taste for qualitative design and craftsmanship do the rest: Eugenie founded her jewelery brand at the end of 2006. Eugenie imagines luminous and timeless jewelery, placing precious stones at the heart of her creations. 'I create fine jewelery pieces for active and sophisticated women who want to wear them every day'.
