Arhitektonsko-građevinski atelje (Architectural Construction Studio) has since 1992 continuously carried out the activity of architectural design and urban planning. Architecture and urban planning feature in themselves an insurmountable paradox. In case the buildings or the urban areas are advanced and optimally constructed for the needs and aspirations of modern man, still they necessarily become obsolete and remain fixed in space, although the people living there are constantly changing and creating new demands for a yet unknown space. The Architectural Construction Studio, awhile in constant conflict between routine and adventure, creates its own canon(s), carried with the disbelief in their own, once constructed schemes, ready to suspect what was yesterday perceived as sure. Its inspiration is independent of all stylistic directions, and even ideological dictates regardless of their political, philosophical, sociological and/or aesthetic origin.
